LA Studio workshops are located in Silver Lake, near Sunset and Silverlake Blvd.
Only 3-4 people per workshop.
Private workshops can be requested.
8.5” x 11” or 11"x17", 2 color prints, 20 to 50 copies.
The workshops are usually held on Sunday afternoons.
The cost of the workshop is $80.00. To lock a spot you can make a payment in advance.
All materials will be included, but feel free to bring your own paper, your favorite pens/pencils/markers/ink/brushes, collage material, laptops with Photoshop, etc.
You will learn the basics of the Riso machine and how to operate it.
No experience is necessary, everyone will be at different levels. Bring an image that you already have mind and would like to see in multiples. Please bring that image -- either a physical copy or digital file works. We will talk about how to file prep your images for the Risograph. Each person is going to walk out with one image printed in 2 colors -- about 30 to 50 prints.
I will work with all of you individually to make successful Riso prints. Please note that we are going to print letter size (8.5"x11") prints on white bristol cardstock.
