FORWARD: "Los Angeles can really burn a hole in you. A cigarette falling between your legs while you try and merge onto some freeway that only gets progressively slower. Nn AC, your windows rolled down to let hot snakes and smoke cover route 10 in your scent. Coffee hurts your stomach but is the only things that keeps you going. These poems are a representation of a product of all of that. Driving in and out of beach cities, inland only when it cannot be avoided, going to friends houes, making family where it counts. Like when you feel a little buzzed, and convince your self that you never have to get older"
